HOW TO GET OUT OF DRUG ADDICTION!


No one starts taking drugs with the hope of getting addicted to it. Everyone started it because it offers them a temporary escape/relief from their stress. We also have people who are into drugs because they wants to be accepted by their pairs. Let's leave the reason why people go into drugs to HOW TO GET OUT OF  DRUG ADDICTION.

STATE AND DEFINE YOUR REASONS FOR LEAVING
Stating and defining your reasons for quitting helps you stay strong throughout the

process.You can always remind yourself why you want to quit whenever the urge to indulge comes.

MAKE A LIST OF THE HARMFUL EFFECTS OF YOUR ADDICTION
Research your addiction and put into words the adverse effect of it. Don't put vague words like "I can not reach my potential due to drugs". Write down the ways your personal and public life has changed since you started becoming addicted.

WRITE DOWN HOW YOU FEEL
You know you are addicted to drugs when you start experiencing withdrawal symptoms when you try to stop. withdrawal symptoms are feelings that are the direct opposite of how you feel when you are high on drugs. Write down how you feel.

IMPACT ASSESSMENT
Does it make you neglect your responsibilities or lie to friends and family? Ask what will happen if you are arrested by law enforcement agents. Write down the impact it has on your finances. Write down everything!

WRITE DOWN THE POSITIVE THINGS YOU WILL EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU QUIT
Write down how your life will change if you stop. The positive effect on your self esteem, your finances and in all arrears of your life.
