WHY POWER SUPPLY HAS BEEN ON A DECLINE IN KUBWA AND ENVIRONS FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS

The AEDC (Abuja Electricity Distribution Company) has cleared the air about the power distribution problem Kubwa has been facing for the past two months of so. (The areas affected are Kubwa, Dawaki and the "After Charlie Boy Area of Gwarimpa).

It is actually a problem from the "transmission end". Though not part of what the AEDC company scope, they came to enlighten the general public on the matter. This is well appreciated and encouraged.

The reason stated is that, there is a major equipment problem/damage at the transmission end,an equipment of the transmission company and as such the only option was to manage the complement of the same heavy equipment so that there will be some power supply in rations.

It is not possible for the current situation to carry every areas at the same time, hence, there is a quota system to make power available to different areas at different times so that every one gets some hours of power supply daily. This will continue until the faulty equipment is fixed/replaced and it is expected to be completed somewhere in the next three weeks or less from today.

They have appealed to all residents affected to bear with them and desist from any practices that will compromise their electrical power integrity.
